Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV should stop acting like a victim and face his arrest warrant over his rebellion case.

Judge Elmo Alameda of the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 150 on Tuesday ordered the arrest of Trillanes after President Rodrigo Duterte issued Proclamation 572 voiding the presidential amnesty of the senator.

Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo said Judge Alameda “is a no nonsense Judge who has a reputation for independence and probity.

“The order is anchored on solid legal ground. Trillanes should face the music and dance as Frank Sinatra’s would croon in his song with the same title,” Panelo said in a statement on Tuesday.

He said Trillanes should “stop milking the issue and act[ing] pathetically as if he is a victim of injustice.”

“The law of Karma as well as of the law has finally caught up with his shenanigans. He has been using his position as senator in planting the seeds of hate and Sedition against PRRD and the government,” he said.

Malacañang had earlier welcomed the decision of the Makati RTC. /je
