‘Beauty’ is Binay’s secret weapon for strong standing in senatorial surveys

It all boils down to “beauty.”

In jest, Senator Nancy Binay attributed her high ranking in the latest Pulse Asia survey to her gorgeousness.

“Strength? Beauty. Joke!,” Binay told reporters when asked about what she thinks is her advantage that keeps her in the so-called Magic 12, as she even ranked between 3rd and 4th n the latest pre-election survey.

Turning serious, however, Binay said: “Hindi ko alam kung ano. Baka na-a-appreciate nila yung trabaho na ginawa natin the past few months. Ang hirap magsalita. Ayaw ko namang magbuhat ng sariling bangko.”

In fact, she said she was surprised that she always makes it to the Magic 12 in the surveys considering the allegations that were hurled against her family in the past.

“Syempre nagulat din,” Binay said of the Pulse Asia survey. “Actually nagugulat nga ako kasi pasok tayo palagi dun sa top 12 …”

“Alam nyo naman pinagdaanan namin way back. But in spite of all the allegations, at paninira…pumapasok pa rin tayo sa top 12,” Binay added. /kga
