A drug suspect who earlier surrendered under the police Oplan Tokhang was caught in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay San Roque, Cubao, Quezon City, on Sunday night.
Initial reports from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said Kristina Catherine Menzon, 29, was arrested inside her house on 1st Camarilla Street.
Authorities recovered 10 sachets of shabu from Menzon, a cellphone, the P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and P1,290.
Menzon will face charges for violating Sections 5 (Sale, Trading, Administration, Dispensation, Delivery, Distribution and Transportation of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) and 11 (Possession) of Article II of R.A 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /cbb
