Magnitude 4.5 quake hits Davao Occidental
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Phivolcs said the quake struck 300 kilometers (km) southeast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, at 10:36 a.m.
The tremor was of tectonic origin and had a depth of 97 km.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks would be expected from the earthquake. /muf
