Boy, 15, drowns in Pangasinan river

DAGUPAN CITY – The body of a 15-year-old boy was found on Tuesday afternoon after he was reported missing during the weekend in Pangasinan province.

Grade-10 pupil Jomar Maglaya Pascua disappeared in Tinugen River in Rosales town where he swam with a friend on Sept. 16.

The body was found floating on a flooded farm near the Agno River in Barangay San Gabriel Second in Bayambang, which is two towns away from Rosales, the police said.

Jomar’s father, Raymundo, identified the boy’s remains which were already decomposing. YOLANDA SOTELO
