Classes suspended in many ‘Ompong’-hit areas

Classes in many schools in Northern and Central Luzon were suspended Monday following the devastation caused by Typhoon “Ompong” over the weekend.

Ompong, which was classified as a super typhoon by several international weather agencies, left a swath of destruction after making landfall in Cagayan and crossing over northern Luzon on Saturday.

It has reportedly left at least 64 people dead.

The following areas declared a suspension of classes in all levels, both private and public, as of 7:50 a.m.
