Duterte to visit landslide-struck Benguet
President Rodrigo Duterte will visit Benguet after a landslide due to Typhoon “Ompong” (internationally known as “Mangkhut”) took the lives of at least 40 people on Sunday.
This statement was issued by Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Secretary Christopher “Bong” Go in a media briefing in Ilocos Norte.
“No’ng nalaman niya na maraming nasawi sa Benguet, pupunta kagad kami bukas. Lilipad kami ro’n, to check, condole with the families, to check the situation,” Go said. /atm
