DID YOU KNOW: Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week

/ 05:30 AM September 17, 2018

Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week is observed from Sept. 16 to 22 by virtue of Proclamation No. 588 signed on March 25, 2004, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The law also tasks the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons, in partnership with other concerned organizations, to ensure the appropriate observance of the occasion. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
