Metro Manila, nearby areas may get heavy to intense rainfall – Pagasa
Metro Manila and parts of nearby provinces will get heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and strong winds on Saturday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its 4:44 p.m. thunderstorm advisory, Pagasa the following areas may get heavy to intense rainfall within two to three hours:
- Cavite City, Trece Martires, Naic and Maragondon in Cavite
- Rodriguez, San Mateo and Antipolo in Rizal
Within the next three hours, Quezon, Laguna and Batangas will also experience heavy to intense rain showers.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” Pagasa said. /atm
