1,415 families in QC affected by ‘Ompong’

More than a thousand families in Quezon City have been affected by Typhoon “Ompong.”

As of 1 p.m. on Saturday, Quezon City has set up a total of 37 evacuation centers sheltering with a total of 1,415 families, or 5,761 individuals.

No casualties have been reported in the city.

  • Banawe Retiro to Biak na Bato, Barangay Siena – not passable to light vehicles
  • West River Side, Barangay Del Monte – knee deep, not passable to light vehicles
  • Tumana Greenland
  • Gumamela Street, Barangay Roxas – 3 feet not passable to all types of vehicles)
  • Araneta/Victory – not passable to all types of vehicles
