533 out of 3,100 pass exam for local treasurers
Only 533 individuals out of 3,100 passed the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (LTE) last June, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Friday.
A passing rate of only 17.19 percent was recorded for the June 24, 2018 examination with a total of 2,567 examinees flunking the examination, according to CSC.
Anna Liza Gaspar from the Ilocos region led the eligible Local Treasurer with a grade of 89.19
Both Bernadette Duya from Central Luzon and Eddieflor Laurejas, Jr. from Eastern Visayas landed on the second spot with a grade of 88.38.
Arminda Madayag (Southern Tagalog) and Syebelle Wanchakan from Cordillera Administrative Region finished third with a rating of 88.11
Passers may claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional Office concerned starting September 6, 2018.
