Man ’trapped’ in 10-year relationship allegedly pushed to death by lover
A 32-year-old man who had been in a relationship with a woman for ten years was allegedly pushed to his death in Kenya.
Dickson Jared Samba, who surprised his partner by going home unexpectedly, was reportedly pushed over the fourth-floor balcony of the rental house he shared with his partner last Thursday, Sept. 6, as reported by The Standard yesterday, Sept. 10. His body was found on the ground floor hanging by the rails. One of the two steel rails that were knocked over was distorted by the impact of his body.
Buruburu police have launched an investigation on the matter. Samba’s partner, Susan Adhiambo Nyawaga, was suspected to be involved in the incident as well as two unidentified men.
Samba’s family claimed that he had been in an abusive relationship — there was a time when Nyawaga stabbed and bit Samba. Jacob Onyango, Samba’s brother, went as far as to say that Samba was “eternally trapped” because he couldn’t leave Nyawaga.
Witnesses said they heard a confrontation from the couple’s house before the incident, the report said.

When she arrived on the scene, she saw her brother’s body as well as Nyawaga who was then preoccupied with her phone.

If he was truly pushed to his death, the truth will always reveal itself. Let God handle this battle.” Kate Matriano/NVG
