3 Taiwanese, cohort fall for transporting shabu components
Three Taiwanese nationals and a Filipino woman were arrested in Infanta, Quezon on Monday morning for allegedly transporting chemicals used in the production of illegal drug methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.
The suspects, while in possession of the illegal drug chemicals, were arrested while they were still aboard a shipping vessel docked in Lamon Bay at Barangay Dinahican, Infanta, around 4 a.m., based on a DZMM report.
Investigation from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said that the policemen have monitored the activities of the suspects several months before the arrest operation.
The police formed a team upon learning that the suspects will be transporting the illegal drug components.
According to intelligence reports, the ship was using a fishing business permit as a front to deliver shabu components to and from Infanta.

Investigators are still determining the real identities of the arrested foreign suspects.
