Man hurt after jumping from footbridge in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A man suffered a head wound and a broken rib after he jumped off from the footbridge at the intersection of Araneta Avenue and Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City early Wednesday morning.

The victim, described as a vagrant and identified only as alias Toribio, 23, was brought to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.

According to Senior Police Officer 3 Salvador Camacho of the Quezon City Police District Station 11, the victim was wearing pants but without an upper garment.
