Two Cebu Pacific flights from Manila to Osaka in Japan have been canceled after the Kansai International Airport suspended its operations due to damage caused by Typhoon Jebi.
An official statement from Cebu Pacific on Thursday said flights 5J 828/ 827 on Thursday and on Saturday have been canceled.
“As a result, the following Cebu Pacific flights are CANCELED today (September 06, 2018), and on Saturday (September 08, 2018),” Cebu Pacific’s management said in a message to reporters.

According to the airline’s management, affected passengers can rebook for travel within 30 days from the original date of departure, or get a full refund.
They can also reroute through other airports in Japan, such as the Narita and Nagoya airports.
“Affected passengers may rebook, reroute or refund their flight free-of-charge through the “Manage Booking” section of the Cebu Pacific website (www.cebupacificair.com),” the management explained.
“Flights to and from Osaka in the next few days may continue to be affected, depending on the situation at the Kansai International Airport. We will provide updates on our website, official Facebook (facebook.com/cebupacificair) and Twitter (@CebuPacificAir) accounts as soon as available,” it added. /vvp
