Sister Patricia Fox seeks a tourist visa to continue stay in PH

Australian nun Patricia Fox on Monday filed an application for a tourist visa before the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to extend her stay in the Philippines.

Fox filed the application because her missionary visa will expire on September 5.

Her stay in the Philippines has been hit by controversy following the deportation order issued by the BI for allegedly violating the conditions of her stay in the country.

From the BI, Fox will file an appeal before the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the hope of reversing the deportation order issued against her. /cbb
