Cops nab man for stealing body spray in convenience store

A man was arrested after allegedly stealing three bottles of body spray in a convenience store in Pasig City Thursday night.
In a report on Friday, the Pasig police identified the suspect as Ronald Menorca, who allegedly stole the items in a store located along Caruncho Avenue in Barangay San Nicolas at around 7:14 p.m.
The suspect allegedly tucked the bottles of body spray in his waist and fled but store supervisor Reymar Villamor spotted the incident through a CCTV camera footage.
Police said Villamor chased the suspect, alerting the policemen who saw the commotion.
A sachet of suspected shabu was also confiscated from Menorca, according to police.
The suspect was placed under police custody, while the stolen items were recovered from him.
Police said he will be facing theft and illegal drug charges. /jpv
