Residential area in Mandaluyong City catches fire

A fire broke out in a residential area in Mandaluyong City past noon Wednesday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Fire Officer 1 Ceo Abucay of the BFP confirmed that the blaze is currently destroying a residential area along F. Ortigas Street, Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong.

Abucay said that the fire started past 1:30 p.m. and was raised to third alarm at around 2:17 p.m.

It was declared fire out at 3:33 p.m., Fire Supt. Ruben Ramirez of BFP Mandaluyong said. /je
