Opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV dared President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday to an intelligence quotient (IQ) test to find out who has the lower IQ.
“Just to settle the matter, I am challenging (President) Duterte to an IQ test. Kahit plus 10 pa s’ya, pag mas mataas score n’ya sakin, magre-resign ako sa pagka-Senador,” Trillanes said in a statement.
(Even if he’s given a 10-point advantage… if he would beat me, I’ll resign.)
The senator issued the challenge after President Duterte questioned how he survived the Philippine Military Academy “given his character, his mouth and his low IQ.”

Trillanes, one of Duterte’s staunchest critics, shot back, saying it was the President who had difficulties in addressing the Philippines’ problems due to his supposed low cognitive abilities. “S’ya nga itong wala ng maisip na solusyon sa mga problema ng bayan kasi aminado syang mahina ang kokote n’ya,” he said.
