No info within PNP on CIA assassination plot vs Duterte, says Albayalde

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde said there is no information within his ranks on the alleged death threat from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) against President Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte earlier claimed the CIA wanted him dead, as he also alleged that other countries like Russia, China, Israel, and Indonesia are watching him.

“With regards to probably yung specific yung CIA, we don’t have information as far as the Philippine National Police is concerned,”  Albayalde told CNN Philippines’ The Source on Wednesday.

While denying any information on the alleged threat, Albayalde said there is always a threat to the life of any president.
