Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Wednesday offered stranded passengers bound to Saudi Arabia with replacement flights after their flights were cancelled with the recent closure of a Naia runway.
PAL management said passengers flying to and from Riyadh and Dammam may take the following flights on Wednesday:
PR5654 Manila – Riyadh – Dammam
Departure at 11:45 a.m.
Arrival Riyadh at 4:20 p.m.
Arrival Dammam at 6:55 p.m.
PR5683 Riyadh – Dammam – Manila
Departure Riyadh at 5:50 p.m.
Departure Dammam at 8:35 p.m.
Arrival Manila at 11:35 a.m. (August 23)
“Passengers who wish to take the flight, but have not yet received a notification that they are booked, are advised to immediately contact the PAL hotline 855 8888 or contact any PAL Ticketing Office to have yourself booked on the flight, as soon as possible due to the limited number of seats,” PAL management said in an advisory.
The airline management also discouraged the passengers to proceed to airports “without a confirmed booking, particularly in Manila.”
PAL also again apologized to the affected passengers of the runway closure and asked for their patience and understanding. /muf
