Zaldy Ampatuan attends daughter’s wedding

Former Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Governor Zaldy Ampatuan has attended his daughter’s wedding on Tuesday.
Ampatuan is one of the principals accused in the November 23, 2009 massacre where 58 people were killed including more than 30 journalists.

Spokesman Chief Inspector Xavier Solda of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology confirmed in a text message to reporters that Ampatuan has managed to secure a court order allowing him to attend his daughter’s wedding at Sofitel Manila from 4 in the afternoon to 7 in the evening.
Solda said Ampatuan is now back at his cell inside the Quezon City Jail Annex inside the Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig.
