BACOLOD CITY — A village chief tagged as a suspect in a shooting incident almost two months ago was shot dead around 10 a.m. on Monday in Barangay Cabcab, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The victim was identified by the police as Rhoy Pagapang, chairman of Barangay Libas in Isabela town
Senior Randy Babor, Isabela acting police chief, said Pagapang was on his way to Barangay Cabcab in Isabela when he was shot dead by four unidentified persons, wearing bonnets.
