Drug suspect slain in Cavite

SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed in a police operation in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province.

Police implemented a search warrant against suspect Nestor Samson around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Barangay (village) Sampaloc 2, said Calabarzon police spokesperson Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, in a message.

During the operation, Samson allegedly opened fire, forcing the law enforcers to shoot him down.

The police recovered a .45 caliber gun, ammunition, and six sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth). MARICAR CINCO
