Comelec goes to all-girls schools

/ 06:20 AM August 16, 2018

Aiming to attract more female voters, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is bringing the voter registration process to several exclusive all-girls schools.

Students from Miriam College (8:30 a.m.) and St. Theresa’s College (2 p.m.) get the first crack at satellite voter registration in their schools on Thursday.

“We encourage new voters to register for 2019 elections,” said Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, Comelec’s gender and development head in her Twitter account. —Tina G. Santos
