3 men killed in Bulacan police operation
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, BULACAN – Police killed a drug suspect and two suspected robbers, according to reports released by the Bulacan police.
The suspect identified only as “Hapon” died during a clash with the police in a drug bust at 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 15) in the City of San Jose del Monte.
Recovered from the crime scene were a .38-caliber revolver and nine sachets of shabu (crystal meth) weighing 5.5 grams.
On Tuesday (Aug. 14) in Pulilan town, police shot dead two unidentified men around 9:30 a.m. along the NIA Road in Barangay (village) Cut-cot. The police said the suspects fired the first shot.
Supt. Erwin Tadeo, Pulilan police chief, said village watchmen alerted them about persons aboard a tricycle roving at dawn.
Seized from the suspects were a handgun, a grenade, 11 sachets of shabu, and assorted mechanical tools. CARMELA REYES-ESTROPE
