Former Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo was all smiles, ready to answer all questions surrounding the P60 million advertisement deal of the Department of Tourism (DOT) during her time.
Teo arrived at the Senate ahead of the 10 a.m. scheduled hearing of the Blue Ribbon Committee on Tuesday.
“Medyo relax. May time to go out, mas may time with the family,” she told reporters.
Teo was confident she would be able to answer all allegations hurled at her over the DOT’s ad placement that reportedly went to her brother’s show with government-run PTV4.
“Of course,” she said when asked if she would be able to shed light on the ad deal controversy.
“Kasi tahimik ako all the while. I was so silent all the while…” the former official said, adding the Senate might be the proper venue to clear her name.
She also said she has no regrets and was in fact happy that she had accepted the DOT post despite the controversy.
Now a private citizen running her own business, Tulfo-Teo said she is now more relaxed and have more time travelling. /muf
