Suspect killed, 30 others arrested in Bulacan drug busts
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A drug suspect was killed, while 30 others were arrested during a series of weekend drug operations which were undertaken despite the onslaught of monsoon rains.
Arnold Aldiyano, also known as “Ar-ar,” was killed in a clash with undercover police officer during a drug bust conducted at 1 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 12) at Sitio ) Dike in Barangay Poblacion in Baliwag town.
His accomplice managed to flee on a motorcycle.
Police recovered a .38-caliber revolver and 4 sachets of crystal meth, or shabu).
Also on Sunday, police arrested Raymond San Pedro, Aldrin Ventura and Roland Ramos in a Guiguinto drug operation, while a still unidentified suspect was caught in San Miguel town.
The other suspects were caught during police operations on Friday (Aug. 10) in various Bulacan towns.
