DID YOU KNOW: 5,728 cases of acute bloody diarrhea reported

Of the 5,728 cases of acute bloody diarrhea reported nationwide from January to April 28 this year, 20 were from the National Capital Region.

This is 60-percent lower compared to the 50 cases reported in the region during the same period in 2017. Central Visayas recorded the highest number of cases this year at 2,226 cases.—Marielle Medina
