WBO Youth Asia-Pacific jr. welterweight champion Jason Pagara will face Mexican Juan Carlos Gallegos in the undercard of the Pinoy Pride 6: Grudge Rematch on June 11 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug.
Pagara was initially scheduled to fight Javier Monserrate of Puerto Rico.
Gallegos sports a 16-win, 4-loss record with 10 KOs and this will mark his first outing outside Mexico.
Pagara (26W-1L, 15 KOs) won his latest regional title by stopping Deo Njiku of Tanzania in two rounds last April in Bacolod City. This will be the first time Pagara will face a Mexican fighter.
ALA Promotions vice president Dennis Canete said Monserrate was not able to sign his contract on the cut-off date.
