Report on Thursday added that the shootout happened when Pasay policemen were conducting “Oplan Sita” to go after people suspected of carrying illegal firearms along F. De Guzman Street in Malibay.

Lopena allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at two policemen when he was requested to surrender his firearm. Ocampo, on the other hand, allegedly tried to grab the firearm of one of the officers.
