QC detainee’s visitor arrested for ‘shabu’
A 41-year-old woman who was visiting her partner in jail in Quezon City was arrested on Wednesday after the police found a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) in her possession.
Joan dela Cruz of Barangay Balon Bato was bringing food to her partner, Crisencio Tismo, who was detained at the Talipapa police station, when a jail officer searched her as part of the standard procedure for visitors.
Ironically, Tismo was arrested last month on drug charges. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
