Alleged pusher yields P250K worth of shabu in Tondo

Ten sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of at least P250,000 were seized from a suspected drug pusher in Tondo, Manila on Friday.

The Manila Police District identified the suspect as Adrian Ambito Buenceslao, 31, a resident of Malaya Street in Balut, Tondo.

According to police, the sachets of shabu were discovered during a police operation along Hermosa Street at about 6:35 p.m.

It was during the operation that police officers noticed what appears to be a pistol tucked in Buenceslao’s waist.

Police then frisked the suspect and found the 9 mm pistol loaded with five bullets. Police also found the sachets of shabu, a small digital weighing scale, assorted cash and a hand grenade replica inside the suspect’s bag.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act are being readied against Buenceslao. /muf
