Eleven vehicles collided along the northbound portion of the South Luzon Expressway on Friday morning.
A gas tanker reportedly lost its brakes and initially hit a UV Express, a dzMM report said, before crashing against nine other vehicles ahead after it managed to run for another 500 meters following the initial collision.
The incident affected two lanes of the highway in the vicinity of Susana Heights, Muntinlupa City.
Four lanes remain passable as of this posting.
Motorists got stuck in heavy traffic in the area due to the accident, the report also said. /kga
