LUCENA CITY – An apparent victim of a hit-and-run vehicle was found along a highway in Atimonan, Quezon early Friday.
A police report said a resident found the body of the still unidentified victim along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay (village) Angeles around 7:45 a.m.
The victim sustained fatal injuries that caused his immediate death. His body bore tire marks indicating that he was run over.
The same report described the victim as approximately 35-40 years old, 5”4′ in height, skinny, bald and wearing boxer short. The victim’s body was brought to Dona Marta Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Investigation on the incident is still ongoing as of this posting. /kga
