Miranda leads after two rounds

RP TEAM member and silver medalist in the recent 26th Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia Raoul Miranda is hoping for the best in his masters event campaign in the ongoing third Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) National Open held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Miranda emerged on top after two rounds of competition in the top 24 masters event Luzon division by logging in 1,329 pinfalls.

Jun Nierva of Imus Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA) is closing in on him with 1,292 pinfalls while Vikings’ Mark Li rounded off the top three with 1,261 pinfalls.  With this, Miranda is insured of a slot in the top 12 masters event, which was still being played as of press time.

Meanwhile, the Virgo Financing team outclassed the country’s best bowling teams by downing 6,219 pins in three sets of games.
