Transportation chief Arthur Tugade said on Wednesday that officials are looking into the flooding incident at the newly opened Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA).

We are going to look into that. We will not allow this situation to continue),” Tugade said during a Palace briefing.

It’s like a new house. During the typhoon season, sometimes you experience leaks),” he explained.

Meanwhile, the builder and operator of MCIA, GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corp, said the company is already looking into the situation.
