Pagasa monitors new LPA near PH; monsoon still affects Luzon, Visayas
A low pressure area outside the Philippine area of responsibility is being monitored by the state weather bureau.
The weather disturbance was last spotted at the country’s eastern section, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon will continue to affect the western section of Luzon and Visayas.
Overcast skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely over Western Visayas and Northern Palawan while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain, according to Pagasa. /kga
