Duterte submits proposed 2019 budget to Congress

President Rodrigo Duterte submitted to Congress on Monday a P3.757 trillion proposed national budget for 2019.

“Yes, [it’s submitted already], and it’s been received by the Office of the Speaker,” Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno said in a text message.

The President delivered his third State of the Nation Address on that same day at a joint session of Congress at the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City. /atm
