Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III on Monday expressed optimism that the House of Representative can ratify the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) on Tuesday.

The Lower House adjourned on Monday without ratifying the BOL which was expected to be signed into law by President Rodrigo Duterte before his third State of the Nation Address (Sona).

“‘Yun lang ang problema but they can ratify it tomorrow. As far as the Senate is concerned, we’ve already ratified it,” Sotto told reporters upon arriving at the Congress for the Sona.
