LOOK: Flood in 16 Olongapo City villages as heavy rains persist

OLONGAPO CITY – Nonstop rains have triggered floods in 16 villages here on Sunday, prompting 343 families to stay in evacuation centers. Most of the evacuees were from Barangay Sta. Rita.

Heavy rain also caused a landslide at the Subic Bay Freeport, according to authorities.

The local government suspended classes in all levels on Monday amid persistent rains and threats of sustained flooding and more landslides.
