July 22, 1898
The province of Pangasinan was liberated from Spanish rule after the revolutionary forces defeated the Spaniards in Dagupan City.
The Katipunan Central Luzon Command under Gen. Francisco Makabulos of Tarlac led the revolution in the province.
Other personalities who had a role in the eventual surrender of the Spanish forces were Don Daniel Maramba, Vicente del Prado, Juan Quesada and Eliseo Arzadon.

Article continues after this advertisementA filtration facility that pumps water from Bañadero River was opened to supply potable water to at least 35,000 households in Masbate City and the town of Mobo in Masbate province.

The water treatment plant addressed the shortage of potable water in the two areas of Masbate province.
The filtration plant was built by Israeli-Singaporean company Singfil Hydrobuilders Inc.
