Malacañang condemned the killing of a radio anchor in Albay on Friday and assured the public that the government would be “relentless” in going after those behind his murder.

“We strongly condemn the killing of radio reporter Joey Llana in Daraga, Albay, as yet another infringement on the rights to life and a free press,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in statement.

Radio anchor Joey Llana of DWZR was leaving home for work around 5 a.m. in Barangay Peñafrancia when the assailants suddenly emerged and attacked him.
