Several domestic and international flights to and from Manila were either diverted or cancelled Friday due to persistent bad weather, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) announced.

In a Facebook post, the NAIA said the following flights at Terminal 3 have been diverted to Clark International Airport:

Cebu Pacific (in bold letters)

• 5J 752 Saigon-Manila (ATA 0704H)
• 5J 679 Shanghai Pudong-Manila (ATA 0750H)

The NAIA also said that the following flights at Terminal 4 have been cancelled:

Air Asia (in bold letters)

• Z2 438/439 Manila-Puerto Princesa-Manila
• Z2 773/774 Manila-Cebu-Manila

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) earlier warned that heavy rainfall due to prevailing southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Storm “Inday” will persist in many parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.

Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms, Pagasa also said. /kga
