QC barangay watchman, 9 others arrested in drug raid
Ten people, including a barangay watchman and his brother, were arrested as they were using drugs in Quezon City on Monday.
A report to Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel, Quezon City police chief, said that acting on a tip, the police caught Arturo Albaniel, a Barangay UP Campus watchman, his brother Armando and eight others smoking “shabu” (crystal meth) at Armando’s house on Sto. Niño Street in Pook Dagohoy.
The other suspects were identified as Alfredo Macabuhay, Michael Miano, Christian de Jesus, Bonifacio Pascua, Charlie James Odulio, Lesley Albaniel, Morris Bondoc and Elizabeth Cruz. Seized from them were three sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia. —Jodee A. Agoncillo and Sammy Westfall
