Morales ready to face charges after her term as Ombudsman ends

Retiring Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales said she is ready to face all possible cases that will be hurled against her after the end of her term on July 26.

“That is a possibility [filing of charges]. I am ready,” Morales said.

Last year, President Rodrigo Duterte said an impeachment case should be filed against Morales for selective justice.

“I’m not scared because I know there was nothing that laced my decisions except good faith,” Morales said in an interview on ANC’s Headstart.
