3 dead, 2 missing after boat capsizes in Camarines Sur

PILI, Camarines Sur — A motorized banca carrying a 12 family members capsized in Buhi Lake in Buhi town, Camarines Sur province Sunday night, according to a police report.
The boat sank at around 8:15 p.m. at the middle of the lake in the vicinity of Barangay Buena and caused the passengers to fall into the water.
As of this writing, the cause of the incident is not yet known.
Seven people were rescued, while three died, including a 3-year-old boy.
The fatalities were identified as Soledad Siocson, 58; Liza Siocson, 48; and Gabriel Bejerano, 3.
Meanwhile, Joshua Bejerano, 12, and Jonas Menorca, 6, are still missing as of this writing.
Search and rescue operations are on going.
