Palace: Joma spoke like ‘a true terrorist’

Communist Party of the Philippines founding chair Jose Maria Sison has “spoken like a true terrorist,” Malacañang said on Thursday after the exiled leader said that the communist rebels could no longer negotiate with a government headed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a statement on Thursday, Sison said “the NDFP  can no longer negotiate” with a government headed by Duterte.

Sison said it was “relatively easier and more productive” for the communist to join ouster moves against Duterte.

“Spoken like a true terrorist,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a text message when sought to comment on Sison’s statement.
