The state weather bureau warned of flash floods and landslides brought about by heavy to intense rain with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the affected areas include:
- MetroManila (Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig Mandaluyong, Pateros, San Juan, Makati);
- Rizal (Cainta, Taytay, Antipolo, Teresa, Angono);
- Cavite (Gen. Trias, Naic, Trece, Maragondon, Gen. Emilio, Magallanes);
- Batangas (San Pascual, Bauan, San Luis, Alitagtag, P.Garcia);
- Laguna (Majayjay, Sta Maria, Famy, Mabitac), and
- Quezon (Gen nakar, Infanta, Real, Tayabas).
