DAGUPAN CITY – A former overseas Filipino worker was killed while his companion was injured on Thursday (June 21) when their motorcycle crashed into an acacia tree at Umingan town in Pangasinan province, police said.
Joselito Gose, 51, died as rescuers were taking him to a hospital, according to Chief Insp. Exzur Relatado, Umingan police chief.
Gose was driving the motorcycle on the southbound lane of the provincial road in Barangay (village) Carayungan Sur at 4:40 p.m. when he lost control of the steering bar.
His back rider, Constanteno Ignas, 68, suffered head injuries and is now being treated at the Umingan Community Hospital. GABRIEL CARDINOZA
